The SEAI-operated Better Energy Community Scheme is a national retrofit initiative that grants funding to a broad range of buildings within a community to improve their energy efficiency. The goal is to provide energy savings to homeowners, communities, and private sector organizations through a community-oriented, cross-sectoral approach. Proposed projects must be financially sustainable and meet minimum requirements to be considered for funding. Copper Coast Renewables are well versed with the grant and will be able to help your business through each step.

Funding through the Better Energy Community Scheme is available for private businesses, up to 30% funding; public sector, up to 30% funding; and community/not-for-profit groups/facilities such as community halls, sports groups, and schools, up to 50% funding.

Business owners, community groups, etc. can choose what measures they want to undertake and must be able to finance their measures in full until grant funding is paid. Suitable funding must be in place as part of the application process. Copper Coast Renewables can source this funding for your business.
