Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of Solar and MV electrical projects. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership capability, and strong project management skills to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Lead the full project lifecycle from design, procurement, and construction to commissioning and handover.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and quality plans.
Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure technical designs meet project requirements, industry standards, and client expectations.
Oversee procurement of equipment such as PV modules, inverters, mounting systems, MV equipment, and subcontracted services.
Technical Oversight
Review and approve solar PV system designs, layouts, SLDs, and MV network designs.
Ensure compliance with relevant electrical standards, grid codes, and safety regulations.
Support on-site troubleshooting and provide technical guidance during installation and commissioning.
Interface with utilities for grid interconnection, MV switching, energization, and permits.
Project Coordination & Stakeholder Management
Manage day-to-day communication with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Conduct regular progress meetings and provide detailed project reporting.
Collaborate closely with HSE teams to ensure adherence to safety policies and site audit requirements.
Manage subcontractors and ensure alignment to timelines, quality expectations, and contractual obligations.
Quality, Health & Safety
Enforce strict compliance with HSE policies and construction standards.
Oversee quality inspections, FAT/SAT testing, and commissioning protocols.
Maintain documentation and ensure accurate project records.
Financial Management
Track expenditures against project budgets and forecast cost-to-complete.
Prepare variation orders, claims, and contractual documentation.
Ensure timely invoicing and support finance teams on project cash flow.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field.
Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.
MV electrical experience is an advantage.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of solar PV system design, components, and performance.
Hands-on understanding of MV electrical systems (10kV/20kV/38kV), protection schemes, and grid integration.
Proficient with project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera) and basic CAD/technical drawing review.
Familiarity with EPC workflows, construction methodologies, and commissioning processes.
Experience
5–10+ years’ experience in project management within the solar, electrical, or power infrastructure sector.
Proven track record delivering utility-scale or commercial/industrial PV and MV projects.
Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors.
